Strategic View Advisors Team
Ed works closely with prospective and existing clients to understand their goals and develop a strategy for achieving them. He also oversees business operations and sits on the financial planning and investment committees.
Ed began his career as an accountant having earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and then a Masters in Accountancy in Accounting and Finance (MAcc) from the University of Denver before making the transition into financial planning more than twenty years ago. In addition to the knowledge of accounting and tax codes that he learned throughout his educational and professional career, Ed maintains the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designations, as well as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional certification.
Ed was born in Kyiv and moved to Denver with his family when he was five. He eventually fled the cold mountain air of Colorado in favor of the California sun and currently lives in Manhattan Beach with his wife, Kelly, and their twin boys, Beckett and Hayden. Ed and Kelly enjoy the outdoors and traveling as a family. In addition, Ed is a oenophile, a member of the Jonathan Club, and embraces his newfound love of pickleball. He and Kelly love animals and Ed is a frequent contributor to various humane societies.
Chris works closely with existing clients in making sure their planning adapts to their changing circumstances. He sits on the financial planning and investment committees and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial planning and client service processes. Chris also oversees internal team development and growth.
Chris has more than a decade of financial planning and client relationship experience. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles and holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations. He maintains the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designations, as well as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification.
Chris grew up in Vienna, Austria, and moved to Northern California for high school. He came to Los Angeles to attend UCLA, met his LA-native wife, Lindsay, and never left. They live in El Segundo with their daughters, Kate and Eliana. They enjoy traveling, especially out of the country, and are actively involved in their faith community.
Mollie is responsible for providing advice and guidance to Strategic View Advisors’ clients. She sits on several of SVA’s committees, including the financial planning and investment committees, and contributes to our broader organizational strategy.
Mollie has been in the wealth management industry for over 15 years, bringing extensive experience from both Bernstein Global Wealth Management and Credit Suisse, where she handled a broad range of advising, planning, investment management, and client service responsibilities. She has an MBA from Pepperdine University and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses. She maintains the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designations, as well as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certification.
After several years of working in social service at the beginning of her career, Mollie decided to take her expertise in finance and passion for helping others and channel it into the world of financial planning. Mollie is a member of the South Bay Estate Planning Council, Estate Planning and Trust Council of Long Beach, C-Sweet, ProVisors, and the Financial Planning Association. Mollie also sits on the board of Housing Works, an organization devoted to ending homelessness in Los Angeles County.
Originally from the DC area, Mollie moved to Los Angeles in 2003 and currently lives in Torrance. She enjoys spending time with her senior dogs, traveling, learning new languages, and playing golf with her husband, Jeff.
Carol is responsible for providing advice and guidance to Strategic View Advisor’s clients. She also sits on several committees, including the financial planning and investment committees, and contributes to our broader organizational strategy.
Carol has been in the finance industry for almost two decades and brings with her extensive experience in financial planning, investment management, and client advising. She graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a M.S in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance. She maintains the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation as well as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification. She holds the Series 7 and 63 registrations.
Carol has enjoyed living up and down the California coast for most of her life and currently resides in El Segundo with her husband, Andrew, and daughters, Alexandra and Audrey. She played Division I tennis all four years at Cal Poly and continues to be an avid player today. She enjoys reading, traveling, discovering new wines, and spending time with her family. Having lost two grandparents to Alzheimer’s, she participates in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, coordinating groups of walkers to raise funds to find a cure, and is a proud member of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Shanelle is involved in the creation and maintenance of financial plans. Shanelle also leads SVA CARES, Strategic View Advisors’ philanthropic committee focused on engaging with the local community, as well as the SVA Summer Internship Program for undergraduate students.
Shanelle brings with her extensive experience from throughout the financial services industry, having previously worked at the Vanguard Group, Dimensional Fund Advisors, and CAIS. She graduated from the University of Southern California magna cum laude with a degree in International Relations Global Business. She maintains the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional certification and holds her FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations.
A Southern California native, Shanelle regularly hikes the local trails and enjoys yoga and traveling. She is also a Yelp Elite member who was named the 2022 West LA Yelper of the Year and is currently training for her first open water swim race.
Natalie Sauer Rutledge CFP®, RICP®

Natalie is involved in the creation and maintenance of financial plans.
Natalie entered the financial services industry in 2018 after more than a decade in the hospitality industry and brings with her a wealth of client service and leadership skills. She graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications and maintains the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation as well as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional certification and 7 and 63 registrations.
Growing up in Southern California, Natalie bounced back and forth between Los Angeles and Orange County and currently resides in Bellflower with her husband, Matt and daughter, Leighton. She is active in the community as the previous President of both the Long Beach Young Professionals and Long Beach Ronald McDonald House Red Shoe Society. Natalie enjoys exploring new restaurants, reading, traveling, wine, the Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Chargers, and cute dogs.
Dan is involved in the creation and maintenance of financial plans.
Dan brings with him nearly a decade of experience in finance and real estate. A former Massachusetts state champion wrestler, he credits the ten years he spent wrestling with teaching him discipline and perseverance. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a BS in Economics and concentration in Finance from the Isenberg School of Business. He maintains the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional certification and holds Series 7 and 63 registrations.
Born and raised in the Boston area, Dan currently lives in Redondo Beach with his dog, Bruno, and is grateful for every day spent on the beach and in the sun. When he’s not pursuing his passion of traveling the world, Dan enjoys surfing, biking on the strand, and lifting weights.
Kenny is involved in the creation and maintenance of financial plans.
Kenny’s prior work with a business management firm servicing high net-worth individuals in the entertainment industry provided him extensive experience in accounting, tax-efficient planning, cash-flow analysis, and client servicing. He graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a BA in Economics and holds his Series 7 and 63 licenses as well as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
Kenny was born and raised in Redondo Beach where he still resides. He enjoys golf, surfing, live music, and watching the Dodgers. He is an avid golfer and spent several years as a golf instructor, teaching kids and growing the game.
Kennia handles a wide variety of operational and client service responsibilities.
Kennia has been with our team for over a decade and has more than thirty years of client service experience, including fourteen years in the banking industry and four in finance. Kennia was also an active volunteer for a variety of community and nonprofit organizations, including being the Community Leadership Development Chair, Alzheimer’s Association Walk Chair, Back To School Backpack Program Chair, Paramount Arts Center Festival Of Trees Co-Chair, and sitting on the Ashland Alliance Winter Wonderland of Lights Committee and the Boyd County 4H Adult Council.
Originally from Kentucky, Kennia and her husband, Scott, now live in Pittsburgh, where their love of the Dallas Cowboys leaves them deep in enemy territory. They also love travel (particularly out to California to visit their favorite beaches) and spending time with their children and grandchildren who live all over the world.
Jeff oversees all aspects of investment operations and is responsible for rebalancing, trading, and money movement and is the primary contact for all questions relating to account opening and maintenance. He also chairs our investment and portfolio management committees.
Jeff brings with him nearly a decade of experience in investment operations, compliance, and client service. He graduated from University of Colorado, Boulder with a Bachelors in Economics. He is a CFA® charterholder and holds the Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Born and raised in the valley, Jeff met his wife, Gabrielle, while living in Colorado. Eventually the lure of warm weather brought them back to Southern California, and they currently live in Inglewood with their daughter, Stella. They enjoy hiking, beach trips, live music, traveling abroad, and exploring new restaurants and breweries.
Matthew oversees the training of new investment operations hires and helps clients in a wide variety of ways including establishing accounts, transferring assets, facilitating trades, and general account maintenance.
Matthew has seven years of experience in the financial industry. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley, Matthew has lived around the Greater Los Angeles area and currently resides in Lawndale. He enjoys photo/videography, cooking, motorsports, and short walks to the fridge. He has a German Shepherd named Bubby, so their activities include long car rides and exploring the parks in California.
Alessandra runs the day-to-day workings of the office. She has broad range of responsibilities incorporating operations, marketing, administration, and scheduling.
Alessandra joins us with experience across multiple industries, most recently having spent the last three years putting her organizational and client management skills to use running an architecture office in West Hollywood. She attended Emerson College in Boston where she received a BS in Political Communications.
Although born and raised in Los Angeles, her extended family live primarily in New England/NYC, and she frequently travels back east to visit. With an Italian heritage, she loves good food and wine, and one of her favorite things to do is host dinners and cook for her friends. She also enjoys travel, with overseas trips scheduled every other year. Alessandra loves animals and works with a variety of animal welfare organizations trying to lower the feral cat population in LA through fostering, socializing, and TNR. On weekends you’ll find her hiking the mountains around LA, trying a new restaurant, or engrossed in a good book.
Daniel supports the operations and planning teams to provide clients with the best possible service experience.
He graduated from The Master’s University with a BS in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance. His interest in investment management led him to begin his career at SVA. He holds the Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Although he was born and raised across the pond, he was lured away from the grey skies of England to the blue skies in Los Angeles County. He also brought over his love for football (soccer) and London-based Tottenham Hotspur football club. He met his LA-native wife, Hannah, here and now resides in Brentwood. They are actively involved in their faith community and enjoy spending time with friends and family.
Griffin supports the planning and advising teams to provide clients with the best possible service experience.
He graduated from UCLA with a degree in Economics. Prior to joining SVA he lived in Spain and taught English, becoming fluent in Spanish during that time. He holds the Series 7 and 63 licenses.
A local product, Griffin still lives in Long Beach where he was born and raised. He enjoys spending time with his family and his passions include traveling and playing music.
